I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014, and I currently teach ethics at Boston College in the Carroll School of Management.  My courses cover a variety of issues in the ethics of of commercial life and the philosophy of capitalism.

My research is at the intersection of normative ethics and behavioral/social psychology. Currently, my main project involves defending the moral tradition of Role Ethics. That work includes a related interest in collective well-being.
